It’s all about winning or losing for Ghana recently. Otto Addo’s men won six and lost five in the last 11 matches.
Injuries and squad news
South Korea’s head coach Paulo Bento will have all the players ready and at his disposal. The best of them, Son Heung-min, is playing with a face mask as he is still dealing with an injury sustained a few weeks ago. He will refrain from aerial duels and will try to avoid plenty of contact with the opponents, but with the ball on his feet, Son can be lethal. He didn't show it against Uruguay, but South Korea will surely have more goal-scoring opportunities against Ghana. Bento will continue with his 4-3-3 formation and will likely stick with the same starting XI. The only change could be Kang-In Lee for Sang-Ho Na.
Otto Addo has to be happy with the performance of his team against Portugal and he is probably going to deploy the same starting XI with a fluid 5-3-2 formation. However, Tariq Lamptey is an option to start instead of Alidu Seidu at the right-back, while Andre Ayew and Iñaki Williams should lead the line. Addo also doesn't have any injury-related concerns.

South Korea is a slight favorite against Ghana on Monday. The bookies are offering 2.49 odds on the Taegeuk Warriors; Ghana to win is at 3.08, while a draw is at 3.06. The bookmakers don’t believe these two nations will produce plenty of goals here, so they are giving very attractive 2.41 odds on Over 2.5 goals, while Under 2.5 goals can be backed at 1.56.
