WHAT ARE BADGES?
Badges are our way of showing which users are expert tipsters. You can earn two kinds of badges – team badges and tournament badges
Team Expert
Team badges mean you are an expert tipster for that team. The requirements for a team expert are as follows – 70% hit rate and 40% yield from a minimum of 15 tips. Requirements for team badges are calculated from your tips from the past six months, with badges available for tipsters in pre-game and live tips.
When you have a team expert badge your badge will show next to all tips for that team, so people can see you are an expert on them. On the badges page you will see all live tips for that team next to the badge too.
Tournament Expert
Tournament badges mean you are an expert tipster for that tournament. The requirements for a tournament expert are as follows 60% hit rate and 30% yield from a minimum of 25 tips. Those tips must include five different home team tips and five different away team tips. Requirements for tournament badges are calculated from your tips from the past six months, with separate badges available for tipsters in pre-game and live tips. When you have a tournament expert badge your badge will show next to all tips for that tournament, so people can see you are an expert on them. On the badges page you will see all live tips for that tournament next to the badge too.
How can I get badges?
Badges can appear hard to get at first.
To get badges, you need to post winning tips. If you concentrate on the leagues you know best, and use our assistance feature to post tips then you will build up a good hit rate and yield. When you get close, we’ll let you know in the widget.
